Religion

I think we're sitting on a cusp of new revelations.

Its strange; I'm reading this "the god delusion" book and a quote referred to the higher levels of intellect showing distinctly lower levels of religious belief.

That the smarter a person is, the less he'll believe in god.

But when I meditate along this thought; something doesn't feel right.

Like we're about to all move to a new level of understanding, that there is something out there - something that can be understood and scientifically proven to exist in both the relm of science and religion.

I dunno. If someone out ther knows what I'm talking about, if they'd jump on and have a few words I would really appreciate it.

Okk;

I've been flirting it up with some online girls; and ran into another "holistic medicine" student at a local college. It sorta dawned on me that the ideas I'm having, the principals I'm investigating and exploring with my friends and apprentices; we're cutting the edge of energetic investigation.

Not necessarily that we are walking a path that others aren't.

Only that we're exploring things before a wave of instituionalism comes and crushes our imagination of potentials and possibilities.

Its funny. I mentioned that people used to get their reiki certifications over a few weekends to a person who had been studying for months to get it... she was... upset. (and massively sceptical - until I showed her some of my "learned in a weekend" tricks)

Speaking to another, just makes me shake my head with shame. We're seeing a new generation grow, and unfortunately they may be wilting for lack of sunlight.

Dissapeared!

Hey all!

So I dissapeared for almost 2 months from you. Where have I been? what adventures have I been on?

So I went to a van halen concert the other day. Which was pretty spectacular. The concert itself was sorta boring, but watching Eddie Van Halen play his half hour guitar solo was something I never thought would inspire me as much as it did.

I bought my first painting.

Its a Michael Godard. He does those paintings with the olives and the martini glasses. They're always pretty amazing. Definately something you wouldn't just put anywhere; but they do create conversation. I was at an art signing of his and had to impulse buy one. Its called Perfect Zen, look it up if you've got the time.

My roomate bought an origional of his, he drew it there on the spot with a silver pen on a black canvas. It only took 20 or so minutes and was pertty phenominal to watch a person of such talent draw under pressure.

The goal was to draw a 3 scene comic book style sword fight between olives with one getting scewered at the end.

He made them like knights and had the helmet come off the 2nd one in the last frame; because of the pit, it looked like he was beheaded.

Anyways; thats a quick "hello" for me. I hope you all have a happy holiday season.
